I’ve been in touch with dogs since I was a young child.
Our first dog was a great dane. Later my parents bought a standard dachshund longhair.
For more then 30 years we have had dachshunds longhair, miniature dachshunds wirehair and longhair. I started showing our dogs late ‘90’s. Since 2009 we have a Bedlington Terrier and it has several Champion Titles in different countries and was showed at Crufts 2016.
Since 2000 I have given showtraining for all breeds. I became more and more passionate about dogs and cynology and followed several classes.
In 2012 I became an official FCI judge, my first breed was Scottish Terrier, followed by the Dandie Dinmont Terrier. I am also an official judge for Junior Handling.
At this time I am board member (secretary) of “Stichting Outdoor Uden” (organizer of the Outdoor Uden and Meierij FCI CACIB dog shows ‘s-Hertogenbosch). I’m also part of the organisation of Dogshow Oss and the Molosser Show.
I take care of the entries and the showadministration.

When judging Junior Handling I find it very important that the juniors have fun showing their dogs. It is very important that they handle the dogs with respect. The handler and dog should be a team and have fun with each other.
Dogs should be shown at loose leads and shall not be pulled up at the tail. Actually I also feel the same way about adult handlers, respect and welfare for the dogs.
